Here's what the role typically involves:Core ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup & Operation: Operates coating machines that apply resins, paints, or other solutions to continuous sheets or rolled substrates.Surface Preparation: Cleans and preps surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.Coating Application: Applies coatings using spray guns, rollers, or automated systems to meet specific thickness and quality standards.Quality Control: Monitors coated materials for defects like wrinkles, uneven coverage, or breaks; performs touch-ups or rework as needed.Process Monitoring: Adjusts feed speed, tension, and drying temperatures to maintain consistency and prevent defects2.Maintenance & Safety: Performs routine equipment checks, maintains a clean work area, and follows strict safety protocols including PPE usage.Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail and mechanical aptitudeAbility to read job specs and follow precise instructionsFamiliarity with industrial safety standardsExperience with coating technologies or machinery is a plus
