Sr. Financial Analyst

Today, with more than 50 locations across New England, Shields honors its founders’ vision by pairing compassionate, patient-first care with state-of-the-art technology to make world-class healthcare more accessible to all.Shields Health Care Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team to carry out budget and forecasting processes for multiple independent operating companies providing diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology and urgent care services. This individual is a key contributor to the company’s financial planning, including coordination with several Senior Management and Director level personnel and preparing presentations for management and our joint venture partners.This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Quincy, MA.What you will doAssist with the annual budget process for 40+ operating companiesDevelopment of new business pro-forma financial modelsUpdate financial forecast models by comparing and analyzing actual vs planned resultsReview operating statistics and provide recommendations to improve financial statusPlay a role in assessing and implementing the company’s financial, budget and forecasting systemsIncrease productivity by automating workflow within Finance teamProvide ad-hoc and ROI analysis along with reporting that supports strategic decision making for the companyMine, organize and interpret large sets of financial data for decision supportResearch and resolve business inquiries from various departmentsWhat you need:3+ years experience in an FP&A roleStrong analytical, problem solving and mathematical abilityStrong communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organizationMust have solid P&L understandingAbility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentMust have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including ExcelBS in Finance or Accounting preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods of time while simultaneously performing data entry and information intake via phone and pcInternal/External InteractionsThis position requires extensive interaction with all customer groups. Candidate must be personable, upbeat, fast paced and organized.The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 + benefits.
