This individual will play a critical role in transforming complex data into compelling, actionable insights for business leaders.The ideal candidate is an expert in Power BI, Tableau, data storytelling, dashboard architecture, and visual analytics best practices. Beyond technical expertise, this role requires strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to establish visualization standards across the organization.This position is designed for a high-potential professional who can evolve into our organization's Visualization Architect, leading the future vision, governance, and architecture of enterprise reporting and analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau.Translate business requirements into intuitive and impactful visualization experiences.Establish visualization standards, best practices, and governance across reporting platforms.Partner with business leaders, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable solutions.Create data models, KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement frameworks.Drive dashboard adoption through user-centered design and data storytelling techniques.Optimize performance and scalability of reporting and visualization environments.Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, business opportunities, and actionable insights.Mentor analysts and BI developers on visualization principles and best practices.Contribute to the long-term visualization strategy and roadmap, with a path toward serving as the organization's Visualization Architect.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Visualization, or related disciplines.Deep expertise in Power BI and Tableau.Strong knowledge of data visualization principles, dashboard design, and visual storytelling.Experience developing executive- and C-suite-level reporting solutions.Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and analytical frameworks.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.Preferred QualificationsExperience defining or implementing enterprise BI and visualization strategies.Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud.Experience with semantic models, data governance, and analytics architecture.Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, Tableau calculations, and performance tuning.Experience leading BI teams, projects, or Centers of Excellence.Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Analytics, or related technologies.Key CompetenciesVisual AnalyticsDashboard ArchitectureData StorytellingBusiness Intelligence StrategyData ModelingStakeholder ManagementExecutive CommunicationAnalytics GovernanceProblem SolvingLeadership and Mentoring
