2nd Shift - Forklift Driver (Starting Pay $17-$18)

Competencies: IntegrityOrganizational SkillsQualityTeamwork Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not currently have any supervisory responsibilities Position Summary The Forklift Driver operates a sit-down forklift to load and unload truck deliveries, as well as to move material to and from storage locations in the distribution center. The Forklift Driver also assists in other areas of the greenhouse when needed. This is in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload product from delivery trucksTransport materials o different locations within the facilityConstant movement of material on pallets throughout the greenhouseStack product in the correct locations, following inventory control instructionsUpdate inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasksAssist other departments as neededAssist with soil productionOther duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications2-3 years' forklift experienceKnowledge of basic hand and power toolsProficient in operating technical machinery and RF scannersExcellent hand-eye coordination Preferred QualificationsPrior inventory experienceComputer experience is a plus Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily in a covered area, but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the forklift. Employee must have the ability to life 35 pounds unaided, 50 pounds with assistance. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, however overtime and weekend work is required during peak seasons.
