Local PODS delivery driver

Daily delivery driver responsible for safe transport, placement and pickup of PODS storage containers within a defined local territory. Successful person represents the company professionally, ensures container integrity, and provides excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include: Safe driving of 24 foot company truck. Loading, unloading and positioning containers using PODS branded lift system. Inspecting containers and vehicle equipment on a regular basis. Communicating with customers over the phone the arrival time, and occasionally in person, the placement procedures and location options. Completing delivery paperwork, proof of delivery and electronic logs accurately and timely. Coordinating with the local office on routing and scheduling adjustments. Following DOT, company and site-specific procedures. Performing light maintenance and cleaning of containers and vehicle as needed. Maintaining professional appearance and positive customer interaction. Successful candidates are independent, service oriented, problem solvers that can perform at a high level without direct supervision.PODS Indianapolis is locally owned and we provide extensive training and continual field support.
