Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerCFS is partnering with a growing, complex renewable energy organization to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to own and lead the accounting function end to end. This is a fully remote role, with candidates required to be located in the Greater Boston area.The Accounting Manager will have full responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in an environment that combines operational complexity with growth and evolving infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of the close process, from preparation through final reportingPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage technical accounting matters and ensure complianceBuild, improve, and document accounting processes and internal controlsServe as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisorsNavigate and manage complexity while supporting scalability and growthIn this role, the Accounting Manager will balance hands-on execution with strategic oversight, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and continuous improvement.QualificationsActive CPA requiredProven mix of public accounting and private industry experienceDemonstrated ownership of the full close in a complex environmentStrong technical accounting and GAAP knowledgeExperience operating in growth-stage or evolving organizationsThe Accounting Manager must be comfortable taking accountability, driving structure, and operating with a high level of ownership.Compensation & LocationSalary range: $120,000-$140,000, based on experienceFully remote roleMust be located in the Greater Boston areaCFS is excited to present this Accounting Manager opportunity for a finance professional seeking autonomy, responsibility, and meaningful complexity.#LI-JK3#INMAY2026
