Facilities Engineer Technician (Non Field)

The Facilities Engineer Tech (Non Field) provides administrative, technical, process, data management and other support as needed for the engineering functions. Performs activities ranging from administrative and process support to data and technical analysis, modeling and reporting. Ensures engineering teams receive the assistance and information they need for planning, budgeting, activity tracking and other operational purposes. Position can work at any of our field offices in North Dakota or possibly sit in Houston. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays Level and salary commensurate with experience.Essential Job FunctionsMaintains systems for Facility data entry, data, and daily, weekly and other periodic reports in support of ongoing Facilities operations and projects.Applies understanding of Facilities equipment and design to ensure information within systems is correctAssists field personnel and troubleshoots data issues, resolving routine issues and referring more complex issues to subject matter experts for resolutionPrepares basic analysis of Facilities data.Collaborate with other functions outside of Facilities including Accounting, Production, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, IT, Data Analytics, Land, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure informed decision-making.Manage data in databases such as SiteView, Enertia, Procount, Marsworx (or CMMS equivalent), FlowCal, Canary Data Historian, Intelex, ACTS, OpenInvoice, Smartsheets, and Snowflake.Prepare data, reports and dashboards to assist team in tracking performance against targets/KPIs.Proactively identify gaps and determine how to improve data quality and data visibility.Develop procedures and train consultants and employees on proper data entry.Assist engineers and management in preparing AFE packages, Cost Estimates, Management of Change and other project support documents as necessary.Gather data and prepare engineering exhibits for regulatory hearings, midstream connects and managerial presentations.Assist in ongoing reviews and process improvement related to scheduling, capital accruals and forecasting with input from engineering, construction, and planning teams.Prepare project construction and close-out documentation to ensure critical information is stored and accessible.Work with other engineering techs within Chord to maintain consistency, share efficiency improvements, improve visibility and reduce rework.Monitor project performance and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.Remain current with industry trends and local training/networking opportunities in the industry.Other duties as requested by supervisor
