Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oxford, MS for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, reconciling accounts, assisting with audits, processing payroll, and preparing tax returns. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial data, generating financial reports, and collaborating with team members to support clients’ accounting needs. Qualifications Strong skills in financial reporting, reconciliation, and data analysisExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processingProficiency in tax preparation and compliance tasksKnowledge of accounting software and tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification or progress toward obtaining it is a plusExperience working with accounting firms or financial service providers is highly desirable
