CAD Operator

Job Description This is an entry-level drafting position. A CAD Operator serves as drafting support for one account within the company. The individual is refining drafting skills and knowledge, while acquiring an understanding of the utility industry and dry utility design.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS§ Interpret and update redlines to generate a basemap while maintaining quality and design standards, daily§ Work on numerous jobs simultaneously§ Frequently coordinate job assignments with other team members to complete jobs under time and cost constraints§ Research maps for each job (telco, gas, electric, water, R/W and sewer) to begin to recognize potential design conflicts§ Regularly submit completed drawings, for approval, to the Project Leader§ Regularly package ARUSI approved jobs and submit them to the client and/or municipalities for approvalExperience in MicroStation is preferredCompany DescriptionARUSI is a full service multi-disciplined engineering design firm.
