DescriptionSpecialization:Pathology Anatomic and ClinicalJob Summary:HCA Healthcare Pathology Services is recruiting for a Division Medical Director of Pathology Services for the North Texas Division which is comprised of 12 hospitals serving communities in greater Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.This is a senior-level, executive position requiring extensive Medical Director experience preferable in practices with multiple locations. The Division Medical Director provides leadership and guidance for division initiatives within the pathology group. The position includes approximately 70% administrative and 30% anatomic/clinical sign-out responsibilities.Qualified Candidates: AP/CP Board Certification required Minimum 5 years hospital-based Medical Director Experience required Must have leadership experience in pathology departments at multiple hospitals; preferably overseeing several locations Excellent interpersonal skills and experience leading a large group and mentoring new pathologists required Experience overseeing centralized histology lab preferred Texas licensed or ability to obtainDuties and Responsibilities: Manages the facility medical directors and associate pathologists in the North Texas Division which includes scheduling oversight, performance monitoring, mentoring, coaching and quality review oversight Facilitates achievement of annual quality and efficiency goals for pathology services in the division Assesses test utilization patterns, performance improvement data, quality control data, regulatory and accreditation standards, process improvement and medical staff satisfaction Professional oversight of clinical pathology processes and procedures Collaborate with laboratory administration to ensure compliance with CAP guidelinesIncentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation package including annual profit-sharing bonus Excellent benefits package including CME allowance, health and 401k Relocation assistance provided Malpractice insurance providedAbout HCA Healthcare Pathology Services:HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients.
