Android Mobile Developer (W2 only)

Location: Salt Lake City, UTSalary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $60.00 USD HourlyDescription: About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Android Mobile Developer with a strong engineering mindset to build high-quality, scalable mobile applications. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of Android applications from design to development, testing, and maintenance-while delivering reliable, accessible, and user-focused solutions.You will work closely with cross-functional partners including product, design, backend engineering, and distributed development teams to deliver end-to-end mobile experiences aligned with business goals and industry best practices.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworksBuild user-focused mobile experiences with attention to performance, scalability, and reliabilityApply software engineering best practices, including clean architecture, modular design, and reusable componentsCollaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and distributed teamsIntegrate RESTful APIs and third-party servicesImplement accessibility standards to support inclusive mobile experiencesParticipate in Agile delivery processes (Scrum or Kanban), including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesConduct code reviews and promote high engineering standards across teamsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycleContribute to documentation of technical designs, workflows, and implementation decisionsWhat You BringMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of hands-on experience developing Android applicationsStrong proficiency in Kotlin and Android frameworks such as Jetpack and Jetpack ComposeSolid understanding of software design principles, mobile architectures, and design patternsExperience building and maintaining scalable, high-performance Android applicationsExperience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Git-based version control systemsExperience working in Agile development environments (Scrum or Kanban)Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for mobile applicationsExperience collaborating with distributed or remote development teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience partnering with product management and business stakeholders on requirements and use casesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processesExperience documenting technical designs and contributing to architectural discussionsStrong communication skills and an interest in continuous improvementAwareness of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in mobile developmentBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
