Maintenance Technician III

Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician III to join our team in Mounds View, Minnesota. In this role, you are responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair work on production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and functionality. This position will require knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and industrial mechanics. Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm We Offer You! Continued education support Opportunity to partner with a small, close-knit team Culture filled with teamwork and accountability What Success Looks Like: Have a safety-first mindset Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment Maintain and order inventory of spare parts and equipment Train and mentor junior technicians Perform preventive maintenances tasks to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls Experience to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Assist in the selection, installation, and start-up of new equipment and systems What You Bring: 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar 5+ years of industrial, hands-on Maintenance experience, preferred Strong electrical ability and mechanical systems knowledge Strong communication skills, team player, approachability, and eagerness to learn Basic machine tool knowledge The targeted hourly rate is $31.67 - $47.52 per hour based on experience.
