Licensed Clinician (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) – Youth Trauma Residential Program Hayward, CA (Full-Time, On-site)Licensed Clinician – Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) Location: Hayward, CA (100% In-Person & On-Site) Employment Type: Full-TimeMake a Real Difference Every Single DayA rapidly growing nonprofit in the Bay Area is expanding its clinical team and seeking a Licensed Clinician to provide direct trauma-informed care in a 6-bed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) serving youth with complex trauma histories - including violence, exploitation, and family instability.This is not a desk job. You’ll be embedded directly in the residential program, working hands-on with youth, families, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver stabilization, healing, and long-term success. If you’re a licensed clinician who wants meaningful, mission-driven work with youth who need you most, this role lets you see the impact of your clinical skills every day.The Role: As the primary clinical provider for the STRTP, you will carry a focused caseload of approximately six youth while supporting the broader clinical needs of the program. You’ll deliver high-quality therapy, lead assessments, coordinate care, and ensure documentation meets Medi-Cal standards—all while collaborating closely with residential staff, schools, and community partners.Key Responsibilities • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth in the residential program • Conduct clinical assessments, develop trauma-informed treatment plans, and complete CANS evaluations • Coordinate care with social workers, facility staff, schools, and external providers • Support crisis intervention and stabilization as needed • Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation and Medi-Cal compliant records • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings • Contribute to extended-stay or step-down planningWhat We’re Looking For Required • Active California clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist) • Experience providing therapy, preferably to youth or adolescents • Trauma-informed care expertise • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills • Comfort working in an in-person residential settingStrongly Preferred • Experience with foster youth, high-risk youth, or commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC) • Familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation and clinical compliance • Experience with the CANS assessment tool • Background in residential or community-based behavioral health programsNice to Have • Bilingual Spanish • Experience discussing substance use or harm reduction with youthWhy Clinicians Love This Role • Direct, meaningful impact on youth who have survived significant trauma • Part of a growing, mission-driven organization that’s expanding services • Work alongside a committed multidisciplinary team in a supportive culture • Generous benefits designed for sustainability and well-being (see below)Compensation & Benefits Salary: $115,000-$120,000 (commensurate with experience)Full benefits package includes: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match • Generous PTO plus restorative leave (designed to support clinician wellness) • Mission-driven culture focused on healing, collaboration, and impactIf you’re a licensed clinician ready to bring your expertise to youth who need it most, we encourage you to apply today.
