Laser Operator
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce precise components according to technical specifications. Duties

Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures and operational sequence.
Set up, adjust and operate equipment with limited supervision.
Operate various hand tools, power hand tools to make finish adjustments to products.
Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications.
Troubleshoot operating, material and tooling problems.
Perform general preventive maintenance work on tools and equipment.
Guide assisting personnel on correct procedures.
Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety and sanitation regulations.
Satisfy the required hours of the department.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
