Our client is a well established multifamily builder seeking a Superintendent to take a lead role in delivering high quality ground-up apartment projects in the Metro Atlanta region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction, a commitment to jobsite safety and quality, and the ability to drive schedules while coordinating subcontractors and field operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain short-term schedules, look-ahead schedules, and daily work plans.Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety programs.Conduct daily site walks and safety meetings to identify and correct deficiencies or hazards.Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure proper execution of work.Coordinate inspections with local municipalities, third-party inspectors, and ownership representatives.Ensure all work complies with building codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.Manage punch lists, unit walks, and final turnover processes to achieve successful project completion.Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.Track manpower, productivity, material deliveries, and equipment usage on site.Maintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation.Coordinate utility installations, site logistics, and sequencing of trades to maximize efficiency.Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project expectations clearly.Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.Identify and mitigate project risks that could impact schedule, budget, or quality.Support budgeting and cost-control efforts by minimizing rework and monitoring field productivity.Oversee warranty and closeout activities following project completion when required.Qualifications2+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or residential constructionStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesProven ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced projectsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsOSHA certification preferredExperience in Georgia/Metro Atlanta projects is a plus
