CT Technologist

In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist. Responsibilities: Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures. Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiology information system. Accurately interprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription. Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images. Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure. #LI-KH1 • Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic TechnologyProgram with ARRT Certification. • Certification in CT is highly preferred.Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire. • Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably withPhilips experience. • 3D Imagingexperience highly preferred. • Current Certification in Basic Life Support. • Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within onemonth of hire date. • Ability to workas a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficientteam. • Excellentcommunication skills. • Ability to workindependently.
