DevSecOps Engineer (Secret clearance)

For our client, we are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (Secret clearance) to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.This role will help secure and streamline mission-critical technology environments supporting complex government programs. The ideal candidate will combine systems administration, automation, and cybersecurity expertise to strengthen infrastructure and improve delivery across Linux and Windows platforms. You will partner with technical teams and external stakeholders to implement practical security controls, remediate vulnerabilities, and support continuous integration and delivery efforts.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annuallyResponsibilities Design, implement, and enforce security solutions following established policies Oversee hardware, software, and network changes while applying best practices to secure the infrastructure Automate cybersecurity tasks and troubleshoot system issues as needed Implement complex technical solutions utilizing advanced technologiesQualifications Engineering degree with 8-12 years of practical software Linux and/or Windows system administration experience; additional years considered in lieu of degree U.S. citizenship is required Active and current Secret clearance is required Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Gitea, GitLab, and similar tools for software development Experience in automation with Python, Linux shells, Windows PowerShell, and Ansible or equivalent languages Experience with cyber remediation on Linux and Windows, including Active Directory Familiarity with network systems administration and STIG implementationBenefits Opportunity to work on large-scale DoD projects in a collaborative environment Engagement with cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity and DevSecOps Possibility for career advancement in a leading defense contracting environment Collaboration with diverse teams across government and industry partnersOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
