Training and Engagement Specialist

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Training and Engagement Specialist to help develop, engage, and support our talented staff.This role is ideal for an engaging, organized, and adaptable professional with financial institution experience who is passionate about training, employee development, and workplace culture.Position SummaryThe Training and Engagement Specialist develops, implements, and manages training and engagement programs that support the full employee life cycle, from onboarding through offboarding. This role partners with leadership to ensure employees are equipped, engaged, and positioned for long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees, including systems such as Symitar and MeridianLinkSupport and enhance the new employee onboarding experiencePartner with department leaders to identify training needs and skill gapsStay current on policies, procedures, operating systems, and regulatory requirementsCreate and maintain training materials, job aids, guides, and e-learning contentTrack trainee progress and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedbackManage professional development plans and career pathing initiativesPlan and facilitate employee engagement activities and company-wide eventsCoordinate employee recognition efforts, including birthdays and work anniversariesManage training logistics, scheduling, communications, and follow-upMaintain internal communication platforms, including the online photo directoryProduce a monthly team member newsletterCoordinate with external vendors related to training, engagement, and eventsAssist with administrative tasks related to the employee life cycleQualificationsStrong presentation, facilitation, and communication skillsKnowledge of training methodologies and employee engagement best practicesAbility to motivate, influence, and train othersExcellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detailProfessional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive informationBachelor’s degree or four or more years of related experienceProficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsExperience in a credit union or financial services environment Why Join Champions First Credit UnionPlay a key role in employee development and engagementWork in a collaborative, people-focused environmentSupport a growing organization committed to excellence and continuous improvementExcellent benefitsDynamic growing environment
