This role focuses on architecting advanced Power Automate workflows, integrating Python-based automation pipelines, and incorporating AI capabilities to streamline operations and enable data-driven decision-making.The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong in workflow automation and scripting, and experienced in translating business and engineering requirements into scalable automation solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the SME for Microsoft Power Automate, including architecture, workflow design, testing, and deploymentDesign and build advanced cloud and desktop flows supporting approvals, data movement, integrations, and robotic process automation (RPA)Develop Python scripts to support automation logic, data processing, API integrations, and backend workflow orchestrationIntegrate automation solutions with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Dataverse, and ExcelDesign and implement custom connectors and REST API integrationsIncorporate AI capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot and other AI services, into automation workflows where applicableCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and rapidly deliver working automation solutionsTroubleshoot, optimize, and enhance workflow performance, scalability, and governanceDevelop documentation, reusable automation patterns, and governance standardsStay current on Microsoft Power Platform, AI capabilities, and automation best practicesQUALIFICATIONS:Required:5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop)Strong hands-on experience designing complex automation workflowsProficiency in Python for scripting, data transformation, and API integrationExperience integrating Power Automate with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 servicesExperience working with REST APIs and external system integrationsAbility to work independently and own solutions end-to-endStrong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindsetPreferred:Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or AI-driven workflow automationFamiliarity with Azure services, Dataverse, SQL, or enterprise data environmentsExperience integrating generative AI or machine learning capabilities into business processesExperience supporting federal or DoD programsMicrosoft Power Platform, Azure, or AI-related certificationsBenefits of working at Brown Technologies IncorporatedBrown is proud to support the health and wellbeing of the people we employ.
