Mainframe Developer

Trident Consulting is seeking a "Mainframe Developer" for one of our clients in "Wilmington, DE (Onsite)" A global leader in business and technology services.Job Title: Mainframe DeveloperLocation: Wilmington, DE (Onsite)Type: Contract(W2 Only)Rate: $50-$52/hr on W2Job Summary 10+years of Mainframe development experience with strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, IMS, and DB2.Design, develop, and implement high-performance banking applications, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Prepare architecture and design documents while ensuring secure, efficient, and maintainable code development.Strong experience in CICS Programming, including CICS Screen Programming, which is mandatory for this role.Hands-on expertise in MQ Series and IMS DB development, integration, and support for enterprise applications.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.Experience in building, maintaining, and supporting Mainframe test regions and managing application deployments is preferred.Knowledge of Banking Compliance and Regulatory platforms with experience developing mission-critical financial applications is preferred.Proficiency with version control systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and delivering high-quality, secure code in Agile environments.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across development teams, business stakeholders, and clients.About Trident ConsultingTrident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
