MRI Technologist Job Type: Travel Profession: Radiology Specialty: MRI Tech Weekly Pay: $2,766 Shift Details: Shift Days - 5 x 8 Job Order Details: Start Date: 06/22/2026 End Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 Week(s) Float Required: No Job Description: Title: MRI Technologist Schedule: Shift: 5x8, Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–8:30 PM Requirements: - License: NY State license required in-hand - Certifications: ARRT (R), MRI Certification, BLS - Experience: Minimum of 1 year MRI experience - EMR: EPIC experience required - Skills: MRI sequences (T1, T2, spin echo, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy), vascular studies (MRA/MRV, MR aortogram, peripheral MRA), specialized exams (MRCP, diffusion studies, temporomandibular joint, spine trauma imaging), technical skills (GE systems experience, PACS, image post-processing), IV contrast preparation/administration, starting peripheral IVs Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans on a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. - Conduct specialized imaging procedures and follow established protocols. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. - Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver quality patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system. - Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Compliance / Notes: - Pre-approved time off: 1 day (per contract) - Candidate must float to other areas as needed.
