Oncology coding experience is highly preferred.Location: Remote (company located in Duarte, CA)Duration: 3-Month ContractPay: $33-39/hrResponsibilitiesReview medical records and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.Code complex surgical cases while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.Maintain coding accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.QualificationsCPC certification required.5+ years of multispecialty surgical coding experience.Oncology surgical coding experience preferred.Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and medical terminology.Experience coding major surgical procedures in a healthcare setting.This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
