As a Telecom Plant Manager, you will oversee and manage daily plant operations, ensuring efficient performance and optimal productivity. Responsibilities include the planning and supervision of telecommunications infrastructure projects, managing plant-related resources, coordinating with team members to ensure timely execution of tasks, and upholding safety and quality standards. You will also analyze performance metrics, optimize processes, and contribute to the long-term growth of NATCO's broadband network expansion.QualificationsEnsure work complete for all outside plant activities to include quality standard adherence and reporting;Perform quality control visits for construction, install and repair activities;Cross-coordinate with outside departments to ensure customer satisfaction;Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget conscious completion;Maintain accurate records of budgets, schedules, equipment and materials used;Draw, read, and understand staking sheets, map, geographical survey map and circuit designs;Ensure compliance with Federal RUS specifications for work performed by outside plant employees and contractors;Understand material and equipment involved in telephone operations to include copper and fiber cable and their distribution design;Display telecom/broadband technical expertise, project management skills, and a client-focused approach while staying updated with industry trends;Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions to include trending and root cause analysis.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and fiber optic technology is highly preferred.Relevant certifications or a degree in a related field, such as engineering, telecommunications, or operations management, is a plus.
