Job Position: Audio/Video TechniciansLocation: San Antonio, TX 78249Description: Audio/Video TechniciansTradeSTAR is currently hiring experienced Audio/Video Technicians for commercial AV integration and low-voltage installation projects in the San Antonio area. These positions are with established integration contractors supporting conference room systems, digital signage, distributed audio, video conferencing, and commercial multimedia installations.We are seeking technicians with hands-on experience in commercial AV installations, structured cabling, and integrated technology systems who can work efficiently in active commercial construction and retrofit environments.Job ResponsibilitiesInstall and support commercial audio/video systems and infrastructurePull, route, dress, and terminate low-voltage AV cablingInstall and configure:o Displays and monitorso Projectors and projection screenso Video conferencing systemso Distributed audio systemso DSP equipmento Control systemso Digital signageo AV racks and head-end equipmentInstall ceiling speakers, wall-mounted displays, microphones, amplifiers, and touch panelsBuild and dress AV equipment racks and cable management systemsTerminate and test:o HDMIo Cat6/Cat6Ao Audio cablingo Fiber optic cablingo Control wiringRead and interpret:o Blueprintso AV schematicso Signal flow diagramso Rack elevationso One-line diagramsTroubleshoot signal flow, connectivity, and device communication issuesAssist with system testing, commissioning, and final client turnoverMaintain labeling, documentation, and quality control standardsQualifications1+ years of commercial AV or low-voltage installation experienceExperience with structured cabling and AV device installationAbility to read AV drawings and installation documentationFamiliarity with commercial construction environmentsAbility to work from ladders and liftsReliable transportation and basic hand tools requiredPreferred ExperienceExperience with systems or manufacturers such as:CrestronExtronQSCBiampLogitechShurePolySamsungLGCisco WebexCTS certification is a plus but not required.Compensation & Benefits$21 $28/hour depending on experienceWeekly payOvertime opportunitiesLong-term project potentialCareer advancement opportunities within the AV and low-voltage industryIf you are an experienced Audio/Video Technician looking to work on commercial AV integration projects with leading contractors, apply today.TradeSTAR San Antonio Office12770 Cimarron Path, Suite 116San Antonio, TX 78249210-930-7827Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM#SAN05
