You'll lead teams, manage systems, and implement best practices to ensure our YMCA facilities remain clean, safe, efficient, and member-ready at all times.What You'll DoManage housekeeping and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional facility standardsOversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment and facility lifeCoordinate repairs, work orders, inspections, and vendor relationshipsEnsure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standardsDevelop schedules, staffing plans, and workflow processes for operational efficiencyMonitor inventory, supplies, and equipment while managing departmental budgetsImplement innovative cleaning and maintenance practices that improve member experiencePartner with branch leadership to support special events, programs, and facility upgradesLead training, performance management, and team development initiativesWhat We're Looking ForMinimum of 3 years of experience in in facilities management, housekeeping operations, or building maintenance.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance.Pool Operator Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active, fast-paced environment.Must be available for emergency call-outs as needed.Why You'll Love Working at the YWe support you inside and outside the workplace.
