Job Description: Support coordination of AI Discovery Lab and Study GroupMaintain an inventory of ongoing and proposed AI initiatives across teamsTrack use cases, pilots, lessons learned, and outcomes of AI experiments within Oxfam and the NGO world.Support small pilots and proofs of concept under guidance from the ADAPT teamResearch and experiment with chatbots, generative AI tools, and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., research, communications, analysis, internal processes)Test and evaluate AI tools for usefulness, risks, accessibility, and alignment with organizational valuesResearch and help surface risks, limitations, and unintended impacts of AI toolsAssist with documenting responsible AI practices and internal guidelinesHelp design, coordinate, or support staff training on AI tools and responsible use (including sessions led by the ADAPT team or external partners)Develop simple guidance materials, job aids, or FAQs for staff learning AI toolsProvide light-touch support to staff experimenting with AI (e.g., office hours, documentation, resource sharing)Requirements: Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems management or related work or equivalent combination of work experience, education, and training.Demonstrated interest in AI, emerging technologies, and their real-world applicationsFamiliarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar), chatbots, or AI-assisted workflowsAttention to detail with strong organizational skillsAbility to explain technical or complex concepts in clear, accessible languageStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsFamiliarity with MS Office suite, Windows 11 OSBenefits: Reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities upon request
