Pay: $78,000.00 - $87,360.00 per year **based on fully licensed clinician Job descriptionCompany: Evolving Mindsets, PLLC.Job Title: Outpatient ClinicianLocation: Cary, NC (Hybrid: Virtual and in-person, including some later evening appointments)Position Type: Full-TimeCompensation Structure: Outpatient clinicians are compensated at a rate of $60 per session when they first start.Earning Potential:Full-Time Caseload: With a typical full-time caseload of 25 clients per week, the estimated annual earning potential is approximately $78,000 annually.Maximum Caseload: Clinicians who manage up to 28 clients per week have the potential to earn up to $87,000 annually.Compensation can increase over time, depending on performance and tenure with the practice. Additional opportunities for increased compensation may also be available.Onboarding/Ramp-Up Pay:During the initial onboarding period, and while establishing a full client caseload, clinicians will receive an hourly rate of $15 for all onboarding and administrative duties.Job Summary: Evolving Mindsets, PLLC. is a growing mental health company in Cary, NC, established in May 2023. We provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. We are here to meet people where they are and be a part of their journey, whatever that may look like.We are seeking experienced candidates for an Outpatient Clinician position. If you are interested in joining a small but expanding practice that prioritizes an ethical and compassionate approach to mental health, please review the responsibilities, education and licensing/certifications, and skills required below.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Assessment and Treatment Planning:Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and diagnostic assessments using company-provided templates and an electronic medical record (EMR) system.Develop clear, realistic, and clinically appropriate treatment plans that address clients' specific needs.Therapeutic Services:Provide clinically appropriate individual, couples, group, and family therapy sessions to children, adolescents, and adults, both in-person at the company office and via the approved telehealth platform, based on the therapist's skill set, experience, and training.Referral Management:Coordinate incoming referrals with other staff for your own caseload.Refer clients to a higher level of care or alternative services when clinical needs cannot be met, the waitlist is too long, or as clinically indicated.Enter new clients into the EMR system and ensure intake paperwork is completed prior to the initial appointment.Complete the clinician intake checklist for all new clients being admitted into services with the practice.Documentation and Billing:Prepare clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, session notes, chart notes, discharge notes, safety plans, and coordination of care, using company templates and the EMR system.Manage self-pay and insurance billing weekly through the company's EMR system, adhering to set practice rates for services.Report any billing issues to the supervisors/owners.Confidentiality and Compliance:Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations at all times across all company systems, including the EMR, email, phone, computer, and telehealth platforms.Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.Caseload Management:Maintain a minimum of 25 clients weekly for full-time employment and a minimum of 15 clients weekly for part-time employment. A maximum caseload will be set to ensure optimal client care.Collaboration and Crisis Response:Collaborate with key stakeholders and engage in coordination of care as clinically appropriate for personal cases and to support staff cases when needed.Ensure Releases of Information (ROIs) are on file for all communications.Respond appropriately to crisis intervention situations within an outpatient level of care, adhering to company policies.Inform owners immediately of crisis situations involving client hospitalization, police involvement, CPS reports, death, or other high-risk and acute safety concerns.Professional Development:Complete all Continuing Education (CE) requirements mandated by the therapist's clinical licensing board.Participate in any additional company-required training.Ensure timely renewal of clinical license and maintain good standing with the licensure board.QualificationsEducation and Licensing/Certifications:Minimum of a master’s degree.Full licensure to practice as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, LCAS).Certifications in evidence-based practice models and prior credentialing with insurance panels are beneficial but not required.Essential Skills: Proficiency in practice software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and familiarity with EHR systems.Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in all interactions with staff and clients.Proven ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and effectively engage clients at their current stage of development.Ability to provide compassion and empathy.Excellent written and verbal communication, and active listening skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain necessary documentation within established timelines.Strong time management and task prioritization skills.Knowledge and experience with various evidence-based treatment models.Commitment to approaching the job role with an ethical lens.Ability to respond calmly to tense or crisis situations using conflict resolution, problem-solving, and de-escalation techniques.Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain client confidentiality.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with insurance verification and billing processes.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.Bilingual abilities.To ApplyTo apply, please send your resume to information@evolvingmindsets.com with the subject line "Therapy Matters."
