The firm has built its reputation on professionalism, quality, integrity, and long-term client relationships, and is now investing in better data, stronger trade intelligence, and technology to sharpen its preconstruction-to-field operating model.This role supports estimating and preconstruction across a growing portfolio of commercial and multifamily projects. It's a strong next step for someone who wants to build a career in preconstruction, working closely with senior estimators and project teams to develop accurate budgets and sharpen their technical and market knowledge along the way.What You'll DoAssist with conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard-bid estimates for commercial and multifamily projects.Perform quantity takeoffs and review drawings, specifications, and addenda to support pricing and scope development.Help identify scope gaps, missing information, and coordination issues, and flag them to senior estimators for review.Assist in preparing scope narratives, inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and bid leveling documents.Support outreach to subcontractors and suppliers across trades, and help collect, organize, and level their proposals.Help maintain cost history, production assumptions, and unit pricing data to support faster, more accurate future estimates.Coordinate with project executives, project managers, superintendents, and design teams as directed to support turnover and buyout.Learn and apply digital takeoff tools, estimating platforms, and AI-enhanced estimating processes as the team adopts them.What You'll Bring2-3 years of estimating, preconstruction, or related construction experience in commercial or multifamily construction.Experience estimating on the general contractor side or with a subcontractor is welcome; both backgrounds are valued.Comfort learning conceptual budgeting, bid package development, and subcontractor buyout processes.Florida construction market familiarity a plus.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent field or estimating experience will be considered.Working knowledge of, or strong willingness to learn, commercial and multifamily construction means and methods.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with drawings and technical documents.Valid driver's license required.What You'll GainBase salary of $85,000 to $110,000, based on experience.A clear growth path toward Senior Estimator, working directly alongside experienced estimators and preconstruction leadership.Hands-on exposure to a growing commercial and multifamily portfolio, with real input on budgets and buyout strategy.Onsite role based at the company's Winter Park, FL headquarters, with travel limited to occasional site visits in Central Florida.The stability of a 50-year-old company known for professionalism, quality, and long-term client relationships.At Framework, we keep it simple: we connect great people with great builders.
