The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist (NJ-2005-02) to work at the 45th LRS/LGRMCC on Patrick SFB in Cocoa Beach, FL DESIRED SKILLS: The candidate will define required work tasks and advise requesting customers on fulfilling their supply requirements. Research different databases and publications to extract data. Research problems surfaced by customers and resolve issues. Process and scan source documents into ILS-S. Manage bench stock accounts. Process MICAP requests. Manage supply discrepancy items and perform tracing actions on lost shipments. Inputs issue requests and obtain logistics data on national stock numbers, utilizing such supply systems as FLITES, WebFLIS, and FEDLOG. SALARY RANGE: $34,799-$62,057 (equivalent to GS 5-8, without locality) This position can close at any time. Apply Now! REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION • U.S. Citizenship • Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret Security clearance. • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise. • This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions present a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. It is required that you (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing. • Education requirements: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2000/supply-clerical-and-technician-series-2005/ • Knowledge of governing supply regulations and functions, procedures, instructions, operations, program requirements, and work methods. • Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system. • Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems. • Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. • Ability to receive, screen, review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Employee must operate a motor vehicle.
