About the Position:
Pureflow provides premium water solutions for mission-critical water systems. Our customers range from pharmaceutical and life science manufacturing and research facilities to industrial power, electronics, and manufacturing sites. We are looking for talented technicians who can maintain and troubleshoot moderate to complex mechanical equipment used in the purification of ultra-pure water for critical applications. Successful technicians usually have backgrounds in repairing integrated equipment such as HVAC, Automotive or Diesel, or other automated electro-mechanical systems. We provide all training necessary to transfer the knowledge that you already have into the management of high-tech water purification technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs field maintenance of high-purity water systems
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on systems that impact water system efficiency and chemical purity
Assists Installation Department staff in commissioning/startup of new water systems as needed
Provides thorough documentation of all work, parts, and time in accordance with SOPs
Works closely with service management and engineering teams to identify system or component problems and implement solutions
Partners with customers in the consistent management and maintenance of their water systems and assists them in good management practices for the smooth performance of their systems
Maintains effective, trusted working relationship with customers
Communicates with NC/VA Technical Service Center Manager regarding service contract issues
Uses safe work practices driving, in the shop, and at customer sites
Maintains extraordinarily neat work areas, including vehicles, shop, and work sites
Key Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with some commercial/industrial experience preferred
Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic & capable of staying cool under pressure
High school diploma or GED

Working Conditions:
Majority of work is performed in industrial settings inside customer facilities
Regular "on call" rotation assignments
Significant local travel, plus average of 6 overnight stays per month
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. without physical restrictions
