Process Engineer / Analyst - Distribution Optimization Rincon, GA (GDC)Serena & Lily is seeking a Process Engineer and/or Analyst to support their distribution center and supply chain function in Rincon, GA. In this position, you will lead the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of distribution center processes to drive productivity, cost efficiency, safety, and service excellence. This role partners closely with Operations, IT, and Finance to improve workflows, implement best-in-class industrial engineering practices, develop labor standards and support strategic growth initiatives across the distribution center.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence & Process OptimizationLead the analysis and optimization of end-to-end distribution center processes including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returnsDevelop and maintain engineered labor standards using time studies, work measurement, and data analyticsIdentify productivity improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)Drive layout optimization, slotting strategies, and material flow improvements to support volume growth and peak operationsEstablish priorities, workload planning, and performance goals for the ops teamFoster a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvementPartner with Safety and HR to ensure engineered standards support safe, compliant, and sustainable work practicesTechnology & SystemsPartner with IT and Operations to support WMS, LMS, automation, and labor management system initiativesProvide IE leadership for automation projects, capital investments, and new technology implementationsLeverage data, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor performance and inform leadership decisionsPerformance ManagementTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, labor cost, utilization, and service levelsEnsure labor standards and processes remain accurate, current, and aligned with business needsSupport peak planning, staffing models, and operational readinessProject Management Lead the overall planning, scheduling, and execution of complex industrial engineering projects from conception to closure.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersConduct cost analysis, prepare proposals for capital equipment justification (ROI analysis), and monitor project financials.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a distribution center, fulfillment, or manufacturing environmentStrong expertise in labor standards, time studies, work measurement, and process improvementProven ability to lead large-scale operational improvement initiativesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsKey CompetenciesStrategic thinking and executionData-driven decision-makingChange management and influenceStrong communication and stakeholder managementCOMPENSATION: $100- 125k per year. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance should they choose to participate in Serena & Lily’s benefits. Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
