Office Operations & Technology Coordinator
A Chicago-based law firm is seeking an organized and knowledgeable Office Operations & Technology Coordinator. This hybrid position offers a salary range of $50,000–$65,000 and provides an opportunity to support the firm’s daily operations within a fast-paced, professional environment. In this role, you will be responsible for helping maintain smooth office functionality by supporting attorneys and staff through administrative coordination, facilities oversight, and basic technology troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability. This position is vital to ensuring an efficient and well-supported workplace where employees have the tools, structure, and assistance needed to perform at a high level. Responsibilities of the Office Operations & Technology Coordinator:Oversee and support daily administrative operations to promote efficiency across the officeHandle incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services, certified mailings, and package distributionKeep client and internal filing systems organized and maintained according to firm proceduresAct as the first point of contact for basic technology issues such as email, printers, and workstation supportLiaise with external IT providers and escalate more complex technical issues as neededMonitor and replenish office supplies, kitchen items, and general workplace necessitiesAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup and access coordinationEnsure conference rooms and shared office spaces are consistently organized and meeting-readyProvide administrative assistance for marketing and business development efforts as neededSupport additional projects and operational tasks as assigned by leadershipQualifications for the Office Operations & Technology Coordinator:2+ years of experience in office administration, operations support, or similar professional services role preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferredStrong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and WordExperience providing basic troubleshooting or coordinating IT support in an office settingDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretionDetail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving approachComfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environmentP-19
