You'll be:Performing pre-operation safety checks on machines and work areaConducting safety inspections for individual machines and associated equipmentAssembling conical bit bodies, brazing material, and carbide tipsOperating braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levelsInspecting parts to meet established ISO quality requirementsSupporting change-overs to meet production due datesTracking material usage and problem-solving to reduce costsManaging inventory of WIP and components, performing cycle counts as specifiedParticipating in lean events and utilizing lean processes in daily dutiesCompleting daily TPM and 5S activities for work areaGathering and posting established production metricsAccurately and promptly recording required production and quality dataThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment (preferred)Are familiar with safety procedures and ISO quality standardsPossess strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAre comfortable working on a 3rd shift scheduleCan perform physical tasks and operate production machinery efficientlyAre a team player with a commitment to meeting production goalsWhat happens nextOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
