We are currently seeking a skilled Attorney to join our team and support our collections and business law initiatives. Position Overview: We are in search of an experienced Attorney to handle legal matters related to collections, judgments, domestications, and business transactions. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing complex legal issues and ensuring the successful recovery of debts. This role requires a strong background in contract and business law, with a particular focus on collections and judgments. Key Responsibilities: Contract Law: Review and provide legal guidance on contracts and agreements to support collections processes and ensure compliance. Collections: Manage and oversee legal aspects of debt recovery, including initiating legal actions, negotiating settlements, and representing the company in collections matters. Judgments: Handle the enforcement of judgments, including post-judgment remedies and asset recovery. Domestications: Manage the domestication of foreign judgments, ensuring compliance with local laws and procedures. Business Transactions: Advise on legal aspects of business transactions and corporate matters related to collections and revenue finance. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York State Bar is required; admission to the Connecticut Bar is a bonus. Minimum of [2] years of experience in contract law, business law, collections, judgments, and business transactions. Proven track record of success in managing collections and enforcement of judgments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide strategic advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach. Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
