"Safety is our concern" Our work environment includes: Church Security Regular Social Event Security On-the-job training Flexible working hours Lively atmosphere Job Title: Armed Security Officer Duties: - Patrol assigned areas and maintain a high visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions - Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats - Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies, and take appropriate action - Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure security measures are in place and functioning properly - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns - Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering restricted areas - Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities Qualifications: - Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certification (DCJS) - Must provide your own duty hand gun - Must have excellent Customer Service Skills - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in law enforcement or security is a plus - Proven experience as an armed security officer or similar role is preferred - Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures - Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism - Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time Benefits: - None If you are a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety and security, we invite you to apply for the position of Armed Security Officer.
