Job DescriptionOBGYN Partnership with Physician Owned PracticeMetro Sacramento, 1 Hour to NapaJoin an established well-respected multispecialty group of 150+ clinicians (roughly 100 physicians and 50 APPs/other professionals) that has been caring for its residents for over 100 years. Physician owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be a pre-shareholder for the first 2 years, then they are invited to become shareholders. The shareholder contract is evergreen. Each shareholder owns 1 share; everyone is equal. Only an hour to Napa and a two-hour drive to the Lake Tahoe area takes you to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record-breaking annual snowfall and views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.About the Position: • The OBGYN Team is currently comprised of 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers.• We are planning to add 3 physicians to the practice• Call: 1:5 (utilizing OBGYN locums until fully staffed)• Laparoscopy, minimally invasive, hysterectomy skills required• Willing to prescribe contraception• Able to perform tubal ligation and insert IUDs• Performing slings for mid urethral incontinence (TVT/ TOT) a plus• Preferably ultrasound viability scan experience (not anatomy scan) • 50% Obstetrics / 50% Gynecology• Average 20-25 patients per day• High Risk pregnancies, have access to MFM in Sacramento• High Risk are transferred to a higher acuity center at 35 weeks.• Oncology and Uro-gynecology are referred out • Cerner EMR• APPs take second call for C-Sections, but do not assist with GYN surgeries.• Diverse patient population / agriculture to college professors• Additional language skills a plus: Spanish, Punjabi, Farsi, Mandarin• Patients admitted to Woodland Memorial Hospital • Group has a Hospitalist team who manage inpatient care for regular admissionsOpportunity Perks: • Employment with 2 Year Partnership Track• Salary guarantee of $396,300 for 18 months• Productivity Model (WRVU) Starting month 19• Sign on bonus $85,000• Student Loan Assistance of $100,000• Relocation of $20,000 Paid to Physician• Call stipend for second call• 6 weeks’ time off first 2 years, 8 weeks starting year 3• Medical Malpractice & CME Allowance• Benefits include:o 100% of Medical, Dental, Vision Paid by Practiceo 401(k) - contribute day 1– matching after 1 year • PSLF SiteAbout the Hospital:• Not-for-Profit faith-based Hospital• 105 Bed Acute Care Facility• Designated as baby-friendly• Family Birth Center with private spacious suites, labor tubs, and free Doula services • 24/7 access for support person, with comfortable overnight sleepers• Options for pain management, skin-to-skin bonding, and access to lactation support services• Birthing Center - 7 LDRs• No NICU- sick babies are transferred out• Hospital is in the process of purchasing a robot• No elective terminations
