Maintenance Technician

Summit Real Estate Management LLC is seeking full-time Maintenance Technician to work at low rise access-controlled apartment community in NE Portland. Qualified candidates will be performing apartment maintenance including turnover maintenance and light interior painting. Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes and common areas in a safe, clean, and well-maintained condition. This role performs repairs, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and emergency response as needed. Key Duties Complete general maintenance and repairs (painting, appliances, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, grounds) Prepare vacant units to rent-ready standards Respond to maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies Conduct property inspections and report safety or maintenance issues Work safely and follow all company policies Qualifications Maintenance experience preferred Ability to use hand and power tools Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Professional appearance and attitude Requirements Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Ability to Relocate: Portland, OR 97232: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
