Medical Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in various laboratory procedures, strong data analysis skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. The Medical Technologist will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results and contribute to clinical trials as needed. Responsibilities Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including PCR, ELISA, and other diagnostic assays. Perform venipuncture and phlebotomize patients as required for sample collection. Analyze data from laboratory tests and interpret results accurately. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Document all procedures and results in accordance with hospital protocols. Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care initiatives. Participate in clinical trials and research projects as needed. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and procedures. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (e.g., ASCP or equivalent). Proficiency in laboratory procedures, including flow cytometry and other relevant techniques. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information. Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital protocols. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
