Senior Application Support Analyst – C/ETRMHouston, Texas | 5 days onsite$130,000 base + benefitsWe’re hiring for a Senior Application Support Analyst directly within the trading floor of a leading trading house in Houston.This isn’t a typical support role sitting away from the business, you’ll be on-site, working side-by-side with traders and operations, supporting a live CTRM environment in real time.What you’ll be doingSupporting a live CTRM system in a fast-paced trading environmentTroubleshooting production issues (data, trades, risk, settlements)Working closely with front office, ops, and business users on system queriesAnalysing data flows across the full trade lifecycleWriting and optimising SQL queries to investigate issuesContributing to ongoing system improvements and fixesWhat they’re looking forStrong experience working with a CTRM/ETRM systemSolid SQL skills (this is a big part of the role)Experience in application/production support (L2/L3 level)Comfortable working directly with traders and business stakeholdersBackground in commodities trading environments (oil/crude ideal)Working eligibility in the US with no sponsorshipNice to haveExperience with Entrade, Endur, Allegro etc.Any exposure to Java or PythonExperience coming from a CTRM vendor or trading houseThe setupBased full-time in Houston (5 days onsite)Sitting directly in a trading house with multinational visibility$125k base salaryFantastic benefits (healthcare, insurance, holidays, etc)Why this role stands outYou’re not removed from the business, you’re embedded on the trading floorDirect exposure to front-office trading activityWork across the full trade lifecycle, not siloed supportOpportunity to build strong commercial and technical exposure in a top-tier trading environmentIf you’re currently supporting CTRM systems and want to be closer to the trading desk, this is a strong move.
