Cloud Integration EngineerWe are seeking a Cloud Integrator with hands-on AWS experience to join our team. This mid-level position is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and integration solutions across complex multi-platform systems. The ideal candidate combines strong AWS cloud expertise with practical knowledge of Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and systems integration to deliver reliable, scalable environments.Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and EKSIntegrate software components and subsystems across cloud, Windows, and Linux operating environmentsBuild and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, with emphasis on AWS EKSImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflowsDevelop scripting and automation solutions to support cloud provisioning, integration, and DevOps workflowsPerform black box and grey box testing to validate system functionality and identify defectsMonitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimizationConfigure and manage AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and route tablesWrite and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration guides, and system configuration recordsCollaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues and verify system requirementsParticipate in configuration management and version control practicesSupport cybersecurity compliance efforts including IAM policy management, encryption, and secure cloud configurationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services in a professional environmentMust be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret security clearanceDemonstrated experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Terraform)Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, or similar)Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)Experience with both Windows and Linux system administrationUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs)Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator, or similar)Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, or Fargate for container orchestrationExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK)Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config)Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practicesExperience writing database queries (SQL)Awareness of cost management and optimization strategies in AWSFamiliarity with DoD or government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud)Coursework, certifications, or project experience in cloud architecture or systems integrationOur Commitment to You:An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s securityFlexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and moreWorkplace Options: This position is onsite or flex While on-site, you will be a part of the Groton CT facilitySalary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
