Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 15-18 months of recent experience for an acute care OT department requiring AHA BLS and an active GA OT license.Job Details• 8-hour day shift, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM,• 5 shifts per week,• 13-week contract,• Acute care OT department supporting patients across the hospital based on physician orders,• Patient population includes ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedic, and general debility cases,• Charting via OneChart (Cerner),• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week period,• Holiday coverage is required,Job Requirements• Active Georgia OT license required (license required if applicable),• Minimum 15-18 months of recent OT experience within specialty,• Current AHA BLS certification required,• Cerner (OneChart) experience,• Driver's License required for consideration,• Permanent address, last 4 digits of SSN, email, and phone number required for consideration - permanent address must match Driver's License and OT license on file,• AHA certifications (non-expired) required for consideration,Additional Information• Local candidates are accepted for this position,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay,• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being considered,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront - requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted,• References are not required at submission but will be needed during the compliance process
