We foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Java Back Developer to develop and enhance backend capabilities for Cost & Yield Analysis within an existing ASIC Inventory Analytics platform.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, enterprise application development, and data-intensive backend services. This role will focus on extending the existing Java/Spring Boot application, implementing complex business rules and data processing, developing scalable APIs, and integrating data from semiconductor manufacturing, inventory, and enterprise systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance backend functionality for Cost & Yield Analysis within the existing ASIC Inventory Analytics platform.Understand and work with the existing Java/Spring Boot codebase, architecture, services, and development standards.Design and develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.Implement complex business rules, calculations, workflows, and data processing required for Cost & Yield Analysis.Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL data models, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database components where required.Integrate data from semiconductor manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, and other enterprise data sources.Extend existing backend services while maintaining compatibility with current platform functionality.Support integration of Cost & Yield functionality with existing dashboards, reports, analytics, and executive views.Develop efficient data processing services to support large datasets and analytical workloads.Identify and resolve application, data, API integration, and performance issues.Implement appropriate error handling, logging, validation, and service-level controls.Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.Participate in code reviews and follow established Java, Spring Boot, database, and development standards.Contribute to technical discussions, design decisions, and backend architecture improvements.Collaborate with Lead Java Developers, React.js Developers, QA engineers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and domain SMEs.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.Support application testing, releases, production deployment, and post-release stabilization.Contribute to continuous improvement of backend architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability.Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience5–7 years of hands-on Java development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases.Experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications.Experience working with existing application codebases and extending functionality without disrupting existing features.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.Good understanding of common design patterns and clean code practices.Experience developing data-intensive applications, reporting platforms, or analytics solutions.Strong understanding of SQL, database optimization, joins, indexing, and query performance.Experience with API integration and backend data processing.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Git-based development workflows.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Good understanding of unit testing and integration testing.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Desirable Skills & ExperienceExperience in semiconductor, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, or production analytics applications.Experience with Cost & Yield Analysis or manufacturing analytics.Experience working
