PRN MFM Sonographer with specific days

This position will have potential for more hours after starting. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology, with the ability to work effectively in what can be a fast-paced environment. **Duties:** - Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, adhering to proper aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients. - Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information and report findings to physicians and radiologists. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to identify and analyze diagnostic imaging data. - Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure timely delivery of test results. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional patient service, ensuring patient satisfaction and trust. - Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal function. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Requirements:** - Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) (OB/GYN) ; NT certification a plus. This opportunity is great for someone with background in OB/GYN-(MFM a plus.) You will be working independently with no other sonographer so being confident in your scanning abilities is a must.
