MSP Sr Engineer

What You’ll Do Help architect and implement technology refresh projects with secure and scalable solutions across Entra, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and implement our cybersecurity stacks for diverse client environments Play a critical role in day-day tickets involving Help Desk, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies, AI Solutions, Networking, Servers, Workstations and Troubleshooting. Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot MSP tools such as PSA (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask), RMM platforms (e.g., N-central, Kaseya, Ninja), and cybersecurity platforms. Deploy and manage advanced cybersecurity solutions including EDR, MDR, SaaS alerting, PAM, DLP, and MFA. Secure and monitor Entra and Microsoft 365 tenants, including conditional access, compliance policies, data loss prevention, and threat intelligence integration. Requirements – Senior Lead Engineer (MSP & Cybersecurity) Experience: 10+ years of IT industry experience 5+ years working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment (required) Proven experience mentoring and leading junior engineers Strong client-facing experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities MSP Tool Proficiency: Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms such as ConnectWise or Autotask Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools such as N-central, Ninja, Kaseya, or similar Cybersecurity Expertise: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) tools (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike) SaaS security alerting and monitoring tools (e.g., SaaS Alerts, Defender for Cloud Apps) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Vulnerability scanning and analysis and/or Incident Response (IR) experience Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001 Microsoft 365 Skills: Deep knowledge of securing and managing Entra and M365 environments Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Defender Ability to configure compliance policies, conditional access, and audit logs Experience with monitoring and alerting through Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center Preferred Certifications (Not Required, But a Plus): Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, M365 Enterprise Admin, or equivalent CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or similar certifications ITIL Foundation or related process certifications Other Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a background check Must have own reliable transportation for onsite customer visits Occasional after-hours availability for emergency support Why Join Us: Be part of a forward-thinking, cybersecurity-first MSP Work with cutting-edge tools and a supportive, collaborative team Opportunities for leadership and continued professional growth emergency support Competitive salary, benefits, and flexible work arrangements Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience: Working for an MSP: 2 years (Required) Location: Dallas, TX 75240 (Required) Ability to Commute: Dallas, TX 75240 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dallas, TX 75240
