OverviewRespiratory Therapist (RRT) – Registered Respiratory Therapist in Seaside, Oregon. Travel temporary assignment beginning 06/01/2026 for Weeks, with a 3x12 rotating shift pattern in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $1,746–$1,777 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This solo RT role covers the ED (Trauma Level 4), ICU, Med/Surg, and OB/L&D with a neonatal through geriatric patient population. Epic charting is required for documentation.Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,746–$1,777 per week Shift: 3x12 rotating Contract duration: Weeks Start date: 06/01/2026 Setting: Critical access hospital in a hospital environment Orientation: 24 hoursResponsibilities Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to Neonates through geriatrics across ED, ICU, M/S, and OB/L&D, with a solo RT on shift responsible for the entire hospital Manage ventilator support (Dräger and Hamilton platforms), invasive ventilation, NIV, suctioning, and tracheostomy care; assist with intubation and weaning from mechanical ventilation Perform ABG collection/interpretation, administer prescribed therapies, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, RRT teams) to optimize patient outcomes Document care in Epic with accurate charting; monitor patient progress and respond to changes in respiratory status; participate in ongoing patient assessment and treatment modification as needed Provide pediatric/newborn care competencies and support, including COPD/asthma management and trauma-related respiratory needs; follow unit-specific protocols and client policies Weekend coverage is required approximately every other weekend (7–13 weekend shifts); no on-call requirement; may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities per policyRequirements Licensure: Oregon state RT license (OR) required; RRT credential required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Experience: Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; neonate and pediatrics experience emphasized.
