Senior Injection Mold Design Engineer
ApplyJob TypeFull-timeDescriptionESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform DMF (Design for Manufacturing) activities on customer designs in both RFQ and Post-Order stagesExecutes Mold Flows and similar process studies to identify tooling and design issuesCreate 3D model of injection molding tool to produce the customers intended part designConduct Tooling Design Reviews to solicit cross-functional input into tool designs. Generate purchase requests for primary components and specialty features of the injection moldProject tracking and status to delivery dates and purchase order commitmentsEngineering support to the toolroom for new tooling, engineering changes, mold repairsConduct Engineering Change activities and design changesConduct troubleshooting of existing molds with performance issuesProduct design assistance as required for customer supportMaintenance of 3D models and file system organization.Non-essential ResponsibilitiesAssist in the quoting process for new moldsProvide sustaining engineering support to production for existing productsPerforms other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.BenefitsAlliance Precision Plastics is a growing, stable Company that offers a safe, clean working environment, standard hours and weekly payroll.
