Position Summary Define experimental test equipment and facility solutions and specifications in compliance with applicable standards. Establish and manage test facility standards and ensure consistency across testing environments. What you'll be doing: Designing new mechanical experimental test equipment for new programs Being a point of contact within a given engineering discipline and to share subject matter knowledge across the function. This may include: providing advisory services to designated customers, influencing their peer group, representing senior departmental staff and acting as advisor/coach on matters where they are technically authoritative Being responsible for defined technical packages/investigations of work providing delivery against program milestones within agreed costs, schedule and quality requirements Resolving problems through evaluative judgements. Analysing factual information from multiple sources, interpreting results and identifying effective solutions by applying technical knowledge, expertise and engineering judgement Actively promoting, encouraging and supporting the identification and implementation of continuous improvement(s) of tools, processes and methods both within and outside their immediate sphere and prompt action across the wider team Who we're looking for: Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems using analytical and critical thinking Effective presentation skills both orally as well as visual management Our behaviors drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We'll expect that of you, too. Relevant majors Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Graduation eligibility Those who have earned their degree May 2026 or prior.
