Compensation is based on skills and experience.Key Responsibilities for Finishing Operator Assistant include:Inspecting for printing defects, requiring close attention to detailBoxing/packing completed orders produced in finishing in preparation for shippingObserving company work ruled and safety regulationsMaintaining a clean and organized work areaWorking closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of finishing operationsThe ideal candidate for Finishing Operator Assistant must demonstrate:Solid reading, math and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both orally and in writing to all levels of people inside and outside the organizationEffective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projectsExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalitiesAbility to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires of internal customersEducation, Skills, and Experience for Finishing Operator Assistant:Required: High school diploma or equivalentRequired: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift; visual acuity and dexterity of handsPreferred: One or more years' experience in a manufacturing environmentA Plus: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
