Infrastructure Engineer

Set Solutions is working exclusively with a client hiring for an Infrastructure Engineer on a 6 month contract to hire basis. As the Infra Engineer, you will work to engineer the clients Azure infrastructure-this includes working with Active Directory and O365. Essential Job Duties: Maintain the highest level of operational standards for cloud technologies while executing best practices in operations and ongoing maintenance. Maintain plans and procedures for administration of the cloud based and on-prem systems. Maintain O365 environment to include Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Respond to escalated tickets from the Service Desk that require Infrastructure support and follow appropriate ticketing procedures. Assist in management and deployment of end user and server patches and updates, including research of operational effects of the same prior to deployment Assist with data center operations, procedures and control mechanisms, documenting key controls such as physical and remote access. Assist with cloud security needs as requested by security team. Assist with the documentation of all system processes and procedures to ensure standardization, and best security practices. Assist with the build and maintenance of servers in the cloud environment. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field required; or 3 years of equivalent work experience Demonstrated knowledge of O365 security tools Demonstrated knowledge of Azure operations and technologies Knowledge of IT operations and basic methodologies Experience documenting environments, process, standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Azure: 3 years (Preferred) O365: 3 years (Preferred) Active Directory: 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Rochester, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
