Commercial Construction Sales Representative

(Job Description)A construction company in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a Commercial Construction Sales Representative to focus on business development, client relationships, and revenue growth while staying connected to projects through completion. This role is intentionally sales-forward, with collaboration alongside estimating and project management teams rather than full project ownership. The ideal candidate understands the construction environment, enjoys being client-facing, and thrives in a self-governing, performance-driven culture.Pay - $80k/yr. - $90k/yr. Base Pay + Commission OpportunitiesLocation - Bothell, WA or Kent, WA (travel will be around the greater Seattle area, but company vehicle will be provided)+ Will be driving to different commercial projects to meet with the owners and general contractors throughout the Seattle area.(Summary of Key Responsibilities)+ (Sales & Business Development)+ Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with general contractors, owners, and clients.+ Actively pursue new and existing commercial opportunities.+ Manage and grow a pipeline of current and future projects.+ Follow up on leads, bids, and estimates that have already been priced or submitted.+ Visit client offices and job sites regularly to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities.+ Represent the company professionally in the market.+ (Project Visibility & Coordination)+ Stay connected to projects after the award to ensure continuity and client satisfaction.+ Conduct job site visits as needed.+ Review drawings and plans to support estimating and client discussions.+ Collaborate with project management and estimating teams to ensure smooth handoffs.+ Track project status, timelines, and follow-through (without full PM ownership).+ (Collaboration & Communication)+ Participate in daily sales meetings.+ Coordinate with internal estimating, project management, and operations teams.+ Maintain accurate documentation and communication using company systems.(Qualification Requirements)+ 2+ years of sales experience in a construction environment (preferably with experience/exposure in Commercial Construction).+ Any experience/exposure within Painting would be a huge bonus.+ Estimation experience.+ Computer proficiency.+ Must have a great understanding of the construction industry and experience with project tracking.+ Hungry-mindset and passion for business development.+ (Preferred) On-Screen, Quick Bid, BuzzBid types of software.+ Ability to pass an MVR (company vehicle provided, and will not be able to utilize personal vehicle for the role).+ Sales-oriented and eager to build a good book of business.(Employee Value Proposition)+ The position is open because the company is transitioning from a traditional sales + project management model to a dedicated sales model.+ Competitive base salary + commission opportunities (commission based on revenue generated by projects).+ A company vehicle will be provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.401k, company vehicle, etc.Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Kent,WA.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Apr 1, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
